How long should a business website take?

Honest timelines for Basic, Standard, and Premium builds — and what slows projects down.

How long should a business website take? — Webliyam blog

One of the first questions we get: “How long until we’re live?” The honest answer depends on scope — and how fast decisions get made.

Typical ranges

  • Basic (up to 5 pages): 5–7 days
  • Standard (up to 10 pages): 10–14 days
  • Premium (15+ pages, e-commerce/booking): 14–21 days

What speeds things up

Clear goals, brand assets ready, and one decision-maker for feedback. Structured revision rounds beat endless “quick tweaks.”

What slows things down

Missing content, committee feedback, and scope creep mid-build. We keep packages clear so everyone knows what’s included before day one.

A good website is worth doing properly — but it shouldn’t drag for months. Tight process is part of the product.
